To be honest, I never really liked “Chandramukhi” at any time. The reason was because I felt that lots of attention was not given to perfection. Do not get me wrong in the sense that Rajnikanth was not the main character of the movie but what I’m pointing out here is about Rajnikanths makeup.

If you noticed, the wig sets that Rajnikanth was wearing on the movie was completely obvious. And being his hair style as his key Style symbol, I think that it should have been given a little more of care. It was pretty stagnant throughout the whole movie.

“Chandramukhi” was a P.Vasu’s movie. As I feared, the mistake is once again repeating in his upcoming venture with Rajnikanth in the movie “Kuselan”. Earlier this month some spy shot stills of the movie was published all over the Internet. And I must say, Rajnikanth’s hair is as bad as it was in “Chandramukhi”. And I’m not too sure on why he even looks older. 

Having such a huge budget, why can’t they pay some attention to his appearance which is the main ingredient in a Rajnikant’s movie. Take for example the movie “Sivaji The Boss”. I was over thrilled with Rajnikanth’s hair set which was made to be seriously real! It moved and it had a life on it’s own. And I do not have to say much about the make up, it was great on Rajini.

So the question is again, why can’t some perfection be showed to Rajnikanth’s appearance. He is the Super Star after all. I leave this post as a doubt until I really get to see the actual movie.
